Is it worth buying a Pontiac (used) I have heard they are basically death

traps. I am looking into a 187 Fiero? either a 1987 Pontiac Fiero, 1994 Pontiac Firebird, or a 1999 Pontiac Firebird trams am convertable.

pontiac fiero are awesome, fun car, really gotta test drive one to see if it suits you. Firebirds are not a bad choice either, i'd pick convertible trans am over the firebird anyday. death traps, nah fiero maybe old but still has a solid frame around that plastic exterior
 
Don't buy the Fiero unless you are a good mechanic.
Even then I would think hard about it.

The other two are ok cars if you can do some work yourself, I wouldn't buy a 94 anything and not expect to work on it.
