Is it worth buying a book that you already know the ending?

I'm talking about the book A WALK TO REMEMBER BY NICHOLAS SPARKS.

I was searching it in google to read all the reviews to know if the book is really good, and it is, and i haven't watched the movie. I'm planning to watch the movie after i read the book(which is i'm not really sure of)

BUT..i accidentally read the ending..i know, i'm a stupid id!ot..

but i really like the story, my mom said i'll only waste my money because i already know the ending..

so what do you think? i really like the story..

soooooooo..?
reading in the library would be a nice idea, but the problem is, there's no near library here..and the books there are useless, trust me...so i think i'll stick on buying it

I don't buy any books, really. I borrow them from the library. At the library, I am constantly re-reading books that I read long ago, or I'm doing what you're doing: reading books that have become movies.

You may know the destination of the plane, but you still look out the window!

The plot is only one reason we read novels -- we also want to know the characters and setting; we want to enjoy the writer's style and techniques of telling a story, etc. In fact, those are better reasons to read than simply knowing "what happens next." Buy it and enjoy.
