Is it weird to want to live alone?

All of my friends seem to have roommates and a couple of friends of mine want to get a 2 or 3 bedroom apartment with me...but I really would rather live..alone. Even if it meant me living alone in a smaller apartment with less room, I would still rather not have roommates. Is this wierd? I feel like a jerk, or anti social, but I just want to live alone.
 
i get you, no its not weird its jus that u like to have ur own space plus most of the time its not easy living with friends bcuz something always happens like one gets mad and moves out than u'll have to move out cuz u cant afford it....yes its better to live alone cuz i went thru that TWICE!
 
Nope. I suppose it depends why you want to live alone. If you just want to be alone so you can isolate yourself form the world, that isn't good. But sometimes you feel you don't want to be bothered with people and you just want to do your own thing. That's not weird or bad at all.
