Is it weird to use a bobby pin that doesn't match your hair color?

My hair is black, and I use bobby pins that are "blond" and brown. I just happened to see them more. But obviously these pins are made to blend in with hair colors, and I'm wondering if it's weird for me to use a blond or brown one. It's just a pin, right...? :) I've seen my blond friend use black ones before, but black is kind of universal...I don't know.

Well, most people don't like going against their color because it makes them "embarrassed" that you can see it. But I don't see why you need to be embarrassed that you're holding your hair up.

So, don't worry about mixing colors. It's perfectly fine. ^_^
It doesn't look bad or anything. What works, works.
