Is it weird to suffer from vertigo or similar after reading?

I've noticed over the past few months, whenever i read a book, usually a romance novel by mills and boon, i tend to suffer from something similar to vertigo once i get into the book, whether its from concentration or whatever im not sure.
I've also noticed whenever i daydream or fantasise in my down time i get the same thing, like my head is spinning and my body is doing what i want it to, but my head isnt in tune with my body, and the past week ive been suffering from a twitch in my right eye.
When i read i get really tired, i was thinking maybe my brain might be overstimulated by reading materials and there's not release so instead it affects my balance and such.
I'm going to see a doctor soon, but i just wanted an opinion first.
When im at work, especially on mondays when its dead and im by myself i feel completely out of it no matter how much sleep ive had, kinda like the feeling when you talk to the point where you forget where you started and you feel completely deflated.
I feel more normal when the other girls in the office with me and my boss is on delivery or whatever, but it comes and goes, sometimes when everyone's in the office i feel really dizzy and sometimes i feel the same when im sitting by myself.
When i read other things i seem to be fine, unless im already in this weird mode then it just continues until i go to bed or something.
