Is it weird to date a guy with the same 1st name as your father?

I used to date this guy and I really liked him, but I stopped talking to him like 2 years ago because he has the same 1st name as my dad and I don't know if that would be weird or not. But he somehow came back into my life recently and I do like him, he is a good man and he is fun to be around, but I still don't know how others would take me dating a guy with the same name as my dad... What do you guys think?
 
my dad and brother have the same name " martin" my sister dated a guy named martin who's dad was also named martin.....it was weird.. but she got over it after a while..
