ok so i'm a tad bit shy when it comes to large groups of gay but i found this thing called district 202 which is the glbt community center for minneapolis so would it be weird to ask my straight Friend to come with me ( they allow straight people they said so
If your friend is up for it, I'd say give it a chance! It's not weird at all. If it's something you would like to do or something you are interested in, then your friend should respect that.
Actually, it would be a great idea. Taking a friend will make it a lot easier to go because you will have someone by your side. Even though they are straight they can still make friends. Both of you will have the chance to meet people.
