Is it weird that my girlfriend doesn't want me sleeping over at other chick

friend's houses when I travel? Basically I have a lot of friends who are girls... in a few different cities I visit on occasion. My girlfriend freaked out when I told her I might be staying at one of my other female friends places. She does have a habit of being somewhat controlling... but to me this says she doesn't trust me. She insists it's the other girls she doesn't trust, but it doesn't make sense to me, because I know myself and that I wouldn't cheat... especially not with someone I've been friends with for a long time.
 
She is just trying to protect herself from getting hurt. YOU know in your heart you wont cheat. And she might know that too. But you can never trust ANYONE 100%, not even your boyfriend.
 
I can understand why she would be upset, and I'm a guy! Honestly, would you feel fully comfortable knowing your g/f was sleeping over at some other guy's house?
 
She probably doesn't understand your relationship with them or just doesn't trust you in general.
 
She is insecure, but I gotta tell you I would act the same way if you were my man. There are certain things you don't do when you are in a committed relationship and this is one of them. Don't argue with her and get a hotel room.
 
No, it's not weird. I would not like it if my boyfriend did that. Would you like it if she stayed at other guys houses?
