Is it weird that my 14 year old friend is dating a 17 year old guy?

Hes really nice and all.. but I think he's a little to old for her.. at her age.
What do you think?
 
that not too bad of an age but when he is 18 he can get into alot of trouble for dating some at that age
 
Nope. That's exactly how old my mom and dad were when they started dating and they are still happily married and had me, my sister, and my brother. It depends on both maturity levels and personality types and of course how the families feel about it.

well...it happens. i was in that situation, i was the one falling for the 17 year old....there could be something really special with them. just keep your eye out for anything suspicious and tell her to be careful and not to do anything she doesnt want to do with him.....
 
nahh i did that last year. its not weird if you think hes nice and everything it should be fine.just make sure he doesn't move the relationship to fast for her cause older guys do that kinda thing
 
its weird at that age. if she was like 18 and he was 21, that would be ok. or if she was 16 and he was 19, it would be a little weird, but lessw weird than 14 and 17.
 
that is kind of weird. If she is mature though I guess it's okay. I'm surprised her parents are allowing that. Hopefully he is a good guy and won't try anything.
 
I dated a 17 year old when I was 14. We went out for four years. Girls mature faster than guys do so its normal for a girl to be attracted to an older guy. As long as he is respectful and cares about her I would say it's no big deal. Kudos for looking out for your friend though.
 
I'm 17 and dating a 19 year old.
3 years isn't much difference, I see it all the time in my area. Anything over 6 - 7 years is a little weird/gross, but if your in love, your in love. Can't really bash it.
 
Yes it may be a bit much for her but 3 yrs. isn't that bad of an age difference.But a lot of times when the men are older they tend to think their all that because they got such a young girl but not always maybe it'll work out great.Try not to worry too much just support her and if it does end badly be there for her don't say I told you so.
 
she's stupid as hell..no offense. but cant she see the guy is only using her to get what he wants. and he will get it in the end if he hasnt gotten it already. just be careful....
