Is it weird that me and my dad are like this?

Me and my dad could probably pass for brother and sister now-a-days. We are always joking around and we play fight and punch eachother all the time. We are very opened about everything and we always joke about drugs and drinking and sex. None of my friends dads are like this, so is he like a bad parent?
And hes always strict and protects me from everything. And he does disipline me. What do you think?
 
no i think he is a fine parent i mean so what if he is not like your friends parents i mean it sounds like you guys have fun and trust each other but i wouldn't want to pass off as brother and sister with my dad but that's just me
