Is it weird that I've been saving up for a wedding ring?

I started saving up when I was 19 for my future wife's wedding ring. But I'm not even in a serious relationship right now. I got like $4,000 saved up so far lol I could be using that money for something else?

No its cool actually.. It shows you want to grow up and start a life with someone. Just make sure you are picky about who you give it to.. anyone who tells you marriage is stupid, didn't pick the right person or didnt get married for the right reasons.
