Is it weird that I cry every time an ambulance drives past me?

I sometimes feel like I am having the emotions of a pregnant woman. Today an ambulance with sirens passed me, and I got teary eyed. Then I witnessed a horrible accident, in a work zone on the highway. When I saw this, I balled my eyes out. I then called 911. Two cars were completely totaled.. I had to weave my way through them to get by. Is it weird for me to be getting this emotional over strangers? Or do other people do this too? I made my 4 year old say a prayer with me.
Trav I was hoping they would connect me to you, but they fed me some bogus line about how New York 911 calls can't get put through to North Dakota

did something happen when you where a child that makes you get emotional when you see ambulances
or maybe you feel bad for the person who has been injured

hope this helps
take care

awwh thats soo sweet :S your just really sensitve person if it gets on your nerves go see someone that will help you, but i think your amazing !

The hormones of any mother are a joy to experience aren't they? You're perfectly normal (this is coming from someone who cries at adverts...And at ER... And any leaving/death/birth/marriage tv scene).

It's a little odd, but it's definitely not a bad thing. It just means that you're far more compassionate than most people, not even being able to stand someone you've never met getting hurt. It's a good quality to have, but it will probably cause you a lot of stress and heartache throughout your life.

no. that just means you're a caring person. i once saw a kid get hit by a car. since then, i can't help but cry every time i see any kind of accident, ambulance or hospital.
