Is it weird for a girl to watch anime?

Definitely not. Anime has many different genres, some of which are aimed particularly at girls, also known as "shoujo" anime. I think there are probably about an equal amount of guys and girls who watch anime. However, just because you're a girl you don't have to like the anime aimed at girls. You could be like me and lean more torwads the action-y, gory, and violent ones.

No, its weird for a guy to though. Most mangas focus on how girls wishes or dreams their life will be in the future. Men on the other hand read so they can get of whatever their parents want them to do or they're gay. But thats not the point... go online and looks at all the anime and manga chat websites, mostly girls chating about their fav book or anime. You do see guys but not as much as women.
