A friend of mine has an Apple Mac and told me he doesn't need to install any anti-virus software on it, and it's almost impossible for his machine to become infected with a virus. I, on the other hand, use a PC and I've already had a couple of viruses, one of them wiped everything from my computer.
So is my friend right? And if he is right, then why don't the manufacturers of PCs try to use some of the technology that Apple use in stopping viruses?
