Is it unpatriotic to eat fish and chips on the 4th of July?

I have a real hankering for some good ol' fish n' chips at my local British fish and chips shop. But I don't want American people to see me in there and get the wrong idea. I love my country. I am not mad at the Brits though either. That war was like over a 100 years ago so I think it is ok to have fish and chips. What do you think? (I would never drink tea though, cause that would be just too disrespectful).

Have them! Don't let a war from decades ago dictate your choices.

I'm British and am completely unpatriotic. I see people, not countries. Today I thought i'd use the independence day excuse to make Philly Cheese Steak, Maple Pecan Cheesecake and Lemon Iced Tea.

My friends think i'm stupid, but i'm having more fun that THEY are today.

It would be VERY patriotic. After all, where do you think potatoes originated from? It wasn't Great Britain, I can tell you that! ;o)

Have a Happy 4th! And a star to help you celebrate!
