P pissy_old_lady New member Jul 12, 2009 #2 If you paint when it is raining, it will take longer to dry because of the humidity...I always wait for a dry day, but you can paint in the rain if you want..just allow extra time before applying the second coat.

K Karen L New member Jul 12, 2009 #3 That's for outside, so the paint doesn't get splashed with rain. Inside is fine.
