...BELOW AVERAGE on a standard....? .....reading comprehension & math skills exam while about half of the atheists/agnostics scored ABOVE AVERAGE on the same exam?
Or do you think the researchers behind the study (focused solely on U.S. citizens who had lived in America since birth) were motivated by bias against those with religious beliefs? (Each person sampled for the exam self-described their religious beliefs or non-beliefs on a spectrum of general terms of "atheist" and "agnostic" through simple belief in a deity and "I believe strongly in the God of the Bible.")
