military? Married with 2 children. Enlisted and leave in Jan. Everyone keep telling me that the recruiters should of told me I get more money for each child and being married. I was never told this. How does this work. I was just under the assumption I will get BAH and BAS and pay for being an E-3.

You are correct. You will simply get BAH with Dependents and depending on your assignment, Family Separation Pay. There is no allowance for extra income per child.

If your hungry for money you can do so, but don't let others fool you onto something nasty. Money is not about everything.

you don't get more base pay but you get BAH for being married. The single recruits don't get any BAH until some time later in their careers when they are allowed to move out of the dorms. So your checks in Basic Training will appear to be almost double than theirs.
