Is it true that there is a possibility of us living on mars?

i saw in a museum that its possible that we live on mars. they found water there and if it evaporates it can create bits and bits of the atmosphere, sooner or later there will be an atmosphere and we can live there.Is this true? Also, why cant it happen if you dont agree with me?
 
i agree that someday we can live on mars, we can create specialized building that recreates the environment here on earth, and also if they invent a gadget that converts mar's atmoshphere into brethable air that humans can percieve.
 
yup. According to science it IS possible. But it is also possible that someday we might live on the surface of the Sun, too.

Not very likely, but possible none the less.
 
No not at the moment, we could definitely go to Mars in a space suit like we did to the Moon.

Water really makes everything happen. There is oxygen in water and that is why NASA are searching for frozen water near Mars' core.

Plants could live with the water and I'm pretty sure that there is enough sunlight on Mars. Then the Herbivores could live on the plants and the Carnivores could live on the Herbivores. Mars can get very cold so we would need some things to provide us with shelter.

The problem is getting the oxygen really. :)
 
It could be true, the mars rovers have been moving around the planet for a few years now and they are still in tact so it cant be that hostile.

There isnt any oxygen though so theyd have to create some pretty big machines to pump oxygen out to create an atmosphere and introduce plant life but it has extremes of weather so if they did build a base it would likely be subterranean.
 
Yes but we would have to terraform it first.

That wont happen in our lifetimes unfortunatley.

water vapor doesn't have enough density to stay on mars, if the water evaporates there, it escapes into space.
 
Well I will be able to....but unfortunately you will not.

See the rules are that, once the colony is established...only attractive people will be allowed to go.

So that rules you out doesn't it.
 
yes it is possible..but it most definitely will not be in our life time...not even remotely close
