Then why was Photoshop invented in the first place for photographers?
If you look up what the reasons are for Photoshop and what people use them, it will say photographers. And photographers take pictures, so they must use Photoshop.
I agree with you, I use Photoshop in almost all of my pictures, even if my picture was already good in the first place. I do that because I find regular pictures that are not edited very boring and too simple when competing with other photographers, unless I take a rare, extraordinary picture. I see nothing wrong with Photoshop. I think it's all these people who started their love of photography back before Photoshop was invented, so they don't believe in that stuff. But unlike younger people, like teenagers, we know more about it and are used to it so we like it because we were accustomed to it at an earlier age.
I'm not saying that regular pictures are bad. I think some pictures should be unedited, because it sometimes ruins the true meaning of the photograph. But if we like to brighten the colors, add effects, or make a picture more interesting, I see nothing wrong with using Photoshop.
