Is it true that older (chemistry) NY regents are harder than most recent ones?

I took a 2006 regent yesterday and I did pretty well on it,
but just a few minutes ago i took a 2002 regent and i got almost every other two wrong. I've heard that older regents were harder than the most recent ones since they've made the regents easier over the years so more people would pass. Is that true?

I sure hope so xDDD

regents used to be much harder.
but now people are getting stupider and they need easier tests in order for majority if test takers to pass.

It really sounds like its probable, and Ive noticed that too. But last years was superrrr hard. I mean I was getting tons wrong when I was practicing it.
AHHH Im sooo nervous!
Good luck!

My teacher actually told me it's the opposite. He said that the past few years, the chemistry regents has gotten much more harder and more people failed. I'm really praying that because of how hard it was last year and because of the high fail rate that they make it easier this year. Kepp your fingers crossed and good luck!!!!!!
