Is It True That It Uses Less Energy To Leave A Fluorescent Tube Light On (like the ones most popular in a kitchen, bathroom, or garage), Then to Keep Turning It ON/OFF Every time You Leave The Kitchen/Room?

More powers are needed to start up the light. so multiple on off creates a lot of energy uses. same goes with car engines too. Top gears!

It makes sense to leave the light on if you will need it on again within 20-30 minutes. If you are gone more than 30 minutes, it makes sense to turn the light off and then turn it on again when you return 30+ minutes later.
