Is it true that EPL games are played early in the day to please the Asian market?

That's one of the reasons, another one is that in England almost everyone is alcoholic so by the time when at 8 PM game starts whole England is drunk already so the chances of riots and fights with police and other hooligans are much higher.


As I said before the league is owned by Arabs and Russians so it's normal that they want to take care of their people first. Right now Asia is more important for English football than England.
 
That's a comment I read on another site and just wanted to know if there's some true to it...
 
They play early because of rules about televising the game in this country set by the FA. They don't allow 3.00pm matches to be televised.
Also some matches and derbys kick off early to try and stop fighting and crowd trouble.

Whatever the reasons is,the most important point is that the fans get to enjoy the match worth the price they are paying for the tickets.I love bpl the most and whatever time the match is played,i'll be watching especially Chelsea matches.
