Is it true that a reference to "genocide" is punishable by law in Turkey?

I read in a news's article that a reference to "genocide" (obviously for Armenian) is punished , with the reason of insulting the Turkish identity.

I don't want to hear about Armenian genocide, I just want an answer if this law really exists.

In Turkey there's free speach. You can claim the fake genocide to your heart's content.

But in France and Switzerland, there's no free speech. You cannot defend yourself against a fake genocide claim.

I guess that means we are more advanced than the said European countries. We make good wine and chocolate, too.
