Is it too cold for lemon tree to stay outdoors?

I have a 1.5m lemon tree outside in the back garden, been there the whole summer and was wondering can i leave it outside little bit longer or is it now too cold? It has lots of baby lemons about 2" in size and new buds came out a few days ago. Hope someone can help. Thanks!

London might be a bit cold for a lemon tree now. At night cover it with a big plastic garbage bag. If the buds stop growing or the lemons start to shrivel or fall off, move it inside and keep it by a sunny window.
