abnormal periods? Hi, I am 16 going on 17. Last weekend me and a really close friend ended up having sex. It was my first time and i am not on birth control. We did use a condom or so i thought, he decided to tell me yesterday that he took the condom off about half way through. To be honest i did not notice because it was rather pain full. It was a stupid mistake on my part and i wish he would have just kept the condom on. Now to the part that scares me. I know its only been about 8 days but my periods have never been normal they come and go as they please. I wanna say the last period i had was about 3 weeks before we had sex but i am not 100% sure of that. I should really learn to keep track. I have only told my sister and best friend, they took me to get a pregnancy test from walmart. After i took the test and was waiting for the results at first it was just negative but after waiting the three minutes as told to on the box a very faint second pink line appeared, at first i thought maybe it was just me over reacting but she saw it too. I then took a second test from the Dollar store but it came out negative, however i only waited about 5 mins and my sister later told me that she had to wait 10 with the one from the dollar store even when the box only said 5, when she found out she was pregnant. I have a very supportive family its just me telling them which is hard. I am not sure what test to believe yet i have a feeling it maybe to soon to tell. I have had a upset stomach the last two days but i have been sick so i am relating that to being sick. I am not sure what to do now and am very scared. I realize that i was being stupid and since then i have decided that it will not happen again till i am 100% sure i am ready. I have also decide that i am making a doctors appointment to get put on birth control. My question i guess is, is it to soon for a test to come back positive given my periods have never been normal? I would really appreciate any help that may be given!
