Is it suggested that I cange the water pump when I change the timing belt on my 2001

Toyota Avalon XLS? 2001 Toyota Avalon XLS 98, 810 miles..about that time to switch out the timing belt so I am getting it done by the Toyota dealership. I was just wondering if I should get the water pump changed at a set interval as well..thanks

Very often this is a good idea since they are in that area anyway. You save lots on the labor by combining the service. One question though... why isn't the dealership advising you on this? This type of thing is discussed several times a day in our dealership here.
