Is it so wrong to require the person you are dating to tested?

Each and every boyfriend I have had, I have required them to get a full STD screening before we even went past kissing. Some people have been telling me I'm crazy but I don't want to be in my 20's with a bunch of children and who knows how many STDs! Why is that wrong? I personally think if you feel you're responsible enough to have sex then you need to be responsible enough to disclose any issues, LIKE STDs, with your partner... am I nuts?
 
Nothing wrong with that at all! If they have nothing to worry about then they should be happy to go get tested.
More people should try that technique...then there would be a lot less std's crawling around since people would stop passing them from person to person.
 
It's not crazy, you're simply being cautious. It's who you are, and that's a good quality.
 
Are you going to keep testing them every time you feel like getting Intimate with them? Who's to say they are not going to catch something while they are with you from someone else. Especially if you are just "dating."
