I bought a house and would like to considering putting a vegetable garden is. I've learned (1st time home-buyer) that water is the biggest enemy of a foundation (hence the point of splash guards under gutters) Is it "safe" to put a garden next to a house? Is there anyway to minimize/eliminate the issues with the water? Or, is it just a bad idea? ....Thanks!
