I have a nice stereo system (Klipsch Promedia GMX A-2.1) that includes two speakers and a subwoofer. I decided that it wasn't getting enough use in my house, so I have put it in my car. My car is a 2002 Acura RSX type S. Basically I put the sub in the trunk, and found a good place in the car that secures the speakers on either side to be sure that no parts move around while driving. It has worked out great, but my only concern is whether or not it is safe. When I plug the stereo in and turn it on, there is a faint electrical buzzing noise that I can hear, which leads me to believe that perhaps a car battery and electrical system simply cannot support the large amount of power that the stereo requires. I would appreciate it if anyone with knowledge on the subject would help me out.
