Is it safe to keep a condom in a backpack?

I used to keep a condom in my wallet just in case me and my girlfriend are in the mood. my friend told me i shouldnt keep it in my wallet or pocket cuz it culd break. so i got a new one and i put it in my backpack. is it safe in there?
 
It's more likely to break in a backpack than in a wallet.
Depending on what's in the wallet/backpack, it should be fine in either.
(unless you're planning on keeping some sewing needles, knives or broken glass in your bag or wallet)
 
well, if u keep it in a closed tight area where it won't shake around, like ur wallet, it would be fine, ur backpack is full of books and stuff, ur wallet would be the better choice
