Is it safe to have a child 1-24 months in a car seat in a 1991 chevy s10 tahoe?

Its the only vehicle i have and my wife will be working a lot so i don't want to keep my new baby boy stuck in the house all day every day. Would it be safe/ok to put my child in a car seat in my vehicle?

as long as it follows the laws and its in there correct and don't speed lol

i guess so, i'd be very careful driving with a baby that young...but if needed so be very slow and careful...should say on the car seat what ages its good for

Yep just follow the instructions for using in a non anchor/latch vehicle.

as long as the car seat is buckled to the car somehow it should be no different than any other vehicle. i think by 91 cars and trucks were under the seat belt law and was mandatory to have them installed and working. the higher view may keep him entertained too. glad u want him along. hugs happy fathers day
