Is it safe to buy used games from Amazon.com?

I want to buy a used game from Amazon.com, the game is Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 for PS3. It's $26.99 used in Gamestop, and i found one on amazon for $10... is this a scam? Can i trust amazon? Does anyone know how exactly to purchase an item from the site? Also can i use my debit card instead of a credit card??? Thanks...
