is it safe to buy rims off line?

ive found several wheel sites that seem pretty ligit, i jus never spent more then like 100 bucks on a website that i know nothin about, so im a little skeptical. does anyone know if its a common thing people do and what are some nice rims for a 2010 honda accord that are not too expensive, thanks
 
I bought some nice rims for my Saab on ebay, just check their feedback rating and how long they have been a seller. Its relatively safe if you research the seller. Paypal offers a certain amount of protection also.
