Is it safe to buy expensive electronics online?

I'm actually currently living in a trailer park and I was wondering if anybody knew from experience whether it would be safe to online shop or not. Expensive items from ups would come directly to the mobile home as opposed to the mail box especially for stuff that wouldn't fit into the mailbox I hear. Thanks.
 
It is perfectly safe to buy things online, even expensive items. But if you have concerns with a neighbor collecting your goods you should make sure the shipment requires a signature. Most items shipped by services such as UPS are insured, up to a point. Additional insurance can be purchased. Requiring a signature is your best bet. Even if someone else were to sign for it you can request to view the signature and complain that it isn't yours. Optionally you could have it shipped elsewhere, a friend or family.
