Is it safe to buy a factory refurbished laptop?

I was looking for laptops then i came across with a high-end factory refurbished laptop. I don't know if its safe to buy it its certainly cheaper from its original price so i need help with this one. Also I saw this laptop on best buy. Thanks!

I have never bought a refirbished laptop so I just buy my laptos new. That way there's no chance of buying a crap one and finding a serius fault with it (e.g. only 3/4 of the screen works)
