Is it right to read the other books?

I mean if a Muslim reads the bible or torah, just for knowledge and to compare their religion with ours??I dont think its wrong? or is it?
 
I don't see anything wrong with it. For me, my only concern is that I have a tendency to be too easily influenced and so when I read different religious points of view, I end up just wondering a lot about who's right and who's wrong-- or if any of us is right.
