I have a boss who is a devout Christian and I often hear her talk to a coworker (who happens to be a minister on the side) about their religious beliefs. for example I hear my supervisor say "faith is your servant" and "only 10% will make it to the kingdom." Is this right for my supervisor to do? they talk about it in the room next to mine and I can often hear them. Is this an issue I can bring up to human resources if i feel uncomfortable hearing these things? i don't want to alienate my boss, but i sort of feel alienated because i don't believe these things and i am not religious. i don't know what to do.... any suggestions?
I understand freedom of speech... but is it ethical in the workplace for a Supervisor to share her beliefs around subordinates??? what about the old "you should never talk about religion or politics???

freedom of speech my friend.....isn't that what the far left people preach?

You live in a country that guarantees freedom of religion. Get over yourself and let them talk among themselves without eavesdropping.

It sounds like you are in a tough situation, because some religious people are prejudiced against those who are not.
If she is not preaching to you, you cannot complain, but I would be cautious. Make sure you don't discuss anything of a religious nature with her. If she says anything to you, tell her you feel uncomfortable discussing religion at work.
Protect yourself as much as you can. Can you transfer to another department? You can find some other reason to give, like you are looking to expand your opportunities.
