To activate a new account with a flashed phone? The dealer down the street is a real goon and the corporate store employees seem to be a little dim. Would like to avoid them if it's possible.

Thanks

I don't believe you have to really. To this day I haven't set foot into a Cricket Store...LOL

In my situation when i first became a Cricket customer....I had my Touch and I called from a buddies phone-->opened an account-->gave them the phones ESN-->then payed for first months and activation fee....and boom Done.

*note: There are little details to it but I'm sure you'll figure it out. Just remeraber when asked what kind of phone say its a Razor, although Mine was set-up as a CPE i have had no problems thus far.

how did you make the payment? i'm just saying because i get people in all the time that say they went through care but care sent them into the store to activate because they needed to make a payment.

ahh... i guess that would explain it. alternatively you could order a phone online, esn change to your phone, and sell the one you ordered online.

V265 refurb or 8910 refurb for $29.99 + $15 activation + $15 esn change = $60 with first month free.

alternatively:
$45 + $15 activation = $70

I have excluded all taxes, which obviously cricket will require you to pay.

Yep payed with debit/credit card....LOL and it was in total....around 70+ nor more then 80 tops....so wasn't to bad for the 50 dollar plan.....LOL

50plan+tax+15 activation=70-80 dollars first time fee
