Is it really frustrating when your partner wants to wait to have sex?

My boyfriend and I have been dating for 5 months, I am 16 and he is 18.
I already told him I want to wait for at least 1-2 years to have sex because I don't feel ready, he was okay with it. I know he is not a virgin and he even told me that it bothers him a little bit that he can't have intercourse with me but he understands I am young and respects that; he has never tried sleeping with me.

Is it really frustrating for a guy to have to wait that much?
 
Yes, but I will give him credit big time, for 5 months, to a guy his age, he must really love you, or by now, he would have split!But you stand by your morals girl, good job!!!Wait until he puts a ring on your finger1!!!!
 
Depends on the guy. When it is really frustrating like that, I tend to see it as a problem. No offense to your b/f.
