I own a 93 Mazda Protege in pretty good condition. It has about 55K miles on it, but it needed some work. I took it to a mechanic and he did the following:
1. Replaced my head gasket, water pump, timing belt, and did some work on the radiator and other minor maintenance (change oil, etc).
When I got the car back, it was running like a dream, until my mom drove it the next day in heavy rain. She said water was leaking into the car onto her feet. I've had the car for a few months now, but I've driven it before (in rain) as my mom was the original owner and I've never experienced the car leak before. To make sure there was a leak, I took the car to a car wash and it was indeed leaking on the driver's side.
Is it possible that the leak could be related to anything the mechanic did, or is this something we overlooked and need to fix?
