Is it possible to use samsung i730 with Cricket?

Oh yeah, I've *228 the phone several times. I have a Travel Time Cricket PRL on there. Text and calls are working fine, I just thing I'm going to need some sort of PST tool and a USB cable to make necessary changes for wap and mms to work. So I wait for my cable, and I'll hope I don't brick my phone :)

Well I braved it and installed WM5 today with ActiveSync 4.5, and it worked great. I was a little nervous during the formatting root message but that lasted about 5 seconRAB longer than I expected and came right up. Pretty kick *** this WM5.

can anyone say "custom rom"...maybe someone over at ppcgeeks or xda will develope a kitchen for this if they haven't already...i'd be way more interested in a kitchen for the i760 though.

good luck....on most pda's...you should not have too use a cable to get it working....all you should have to do is create a new connection and put in your info

hola, i'm hoping someone can help me get wap running on my i730 (WM5). when i try to change the IS-95/1XDataParameter i get an message saying "error in changing usb dm" i saw that someone posted in the samsung forum with the same problem but got no answer.

thanks!

I thought even on your XV6700 you had to change from multi IP to simple IP or something like that, but that your phone has it's own built in PST.

Basically I have created many connections. As per this thread:
http://www.howardforums.com/showthread.php?t=1041644
I don't have internal PST to change to simple IP, that I can find. And I've been through many "hidden menus" on the phone.

Tried my MIN as a username, my phone nuraber etc... I'm at a loss, so maybe it just won't work, or I don't have enough knowledge to get it working. The WiFi works for getting online most anywhere I am, and it makes calls and texts so I'm fairly happy, I'd be thrilled if I got the WAP and mms working though.

I'll keep reading and trying to apply what I find in other threaRAB to my phone and maybe I'll get it working. If I do, I'll post what I did here. If not, I'll get a different smartphone at some point in the future and start on that one.

If any of you have any tips on what steps I'm missing, please let me know, I'd love to have one of those duh moments where I hit myself in the forehead after seeing the simple step I missed.
