yes its real possible, i got 93 model that had the v-6 in it and we dropped a 360 in it,with not to many changes to it,i went back to the old type electronic ignition though so we could use few performance products on it,it took me about a week to change everything over,but i now have a real wicked little truck,i also used an older model 904 transmission with it with a small build up in it,but i like it,i could have sold that truck a 100 times or more when people see what it has in it they all look surprised,you need a good older truck or a good parts supply to do this,you can go to a newer engine ,but you wont have the power of the older ones if you do,any 360 will fit in it,that's the good part of it,and they make headers for those also,good luck.
