Someone explained a problem I had with the bible in this way: "You are looking at it carnal,you must read it spiritually and in order to do that you must be born again and walking in the spirit." It beats me what reading something spiritually means. I only have had physical experiences, and never have had a spiritual experience, despite being brought up Christian. So this makes it a bit of a catch 22 for me, I can't believe in the bible until it makes sense, But It can only make sense when I believe in the bible. How do I get out of this loop?
Is it possible to understand the bible before becoming a Christian?
