if you research different cultures it is possible to understand their taboos, but accepting them is another story. lol

I'm not sure if I can express myself very well, but even when talking about taboos it is relative isn't it? We can only think of taboos in relation to ourselves - and if we cut off from what we consider as taboo, and our own perception of it,.. as if to step into the world of the society we are looking at, how can we then relate to it?
Black God Dream thanks, where are you from pls? I wasn't aware about this until now... but is understanding just realising that it shouldn't be done enough? - as though it's a rule.

One can understand if they are willing to accept otherwise foreign concepts. An open mind really helps. Doesn't mean you have to believe it either.

You mean like not talking louder than a member of a higher social caste if you're indian?

yes.

YES: WITH DIFFICULTY, BECAUSE YOUR FIRST LANGUAGE IS ENGLISH, AND THAT IS THE STRUCTURE OF YOUR CONSCIOUSNESS.

HOWEVER, THERE IS A DEEP STRUCTURE TO LANGUAGE WHICH RELATES TO THE ABILITY TO TRANSLATE, AND SEMANTICS.
