Im into a lot of sports, including mixed martial arts and football, which include a high degree of pain sometimes. I've noticed that when I get hit in certain areas, like parts of my legs and arms, it doesn't hurt as much as when I first started out years ago. Is it possible that my body has just grown accustomed to this pain? and is it a good thing or a bad thing? I mean, it's cool that I can take a hit like a champ, but what affect does that have on my nerves?
