...decisions? United States Law? So I'm just wondering, can you legally earn your own medical freedom and decisions without the regards of your parents? My mother doesn't abuse me physically, and takes care of me in the sense I get enough food, but her medical decisions often take way too long to the point where I suffer. Shouldn't such neglect be considered abuse? If anyone could give me any insight, that would rock. Thanks.
I forgot to mention I'm 17 years old, so it's not like I can't take care of myself. I'm sure that would be recognized in courts.
