I have been on Accutane 60 mg for a month now and am having great results on my chest and back (I have had acne on my chest for 4 years that I have struggled with and now it is COMPLETELY gone) but my face is still breaking out. My skin is not dry at all, and my lips are chapped, but it's tolerable. My skin was extremely oily before, so it's actually "normal" now that I'm on Accutane.
I'm worried that when I go to my dermatologist I will have to be bumped up to a higher dosage, but I do NOT want to take any higher than 60 mg because I am doing so well on it and experiencing little to no side effects.
Is it possible so stay on 60 mg for my entire 5 month cycle? Has anyone done this?
