Is it possible to start a 2007 Kawasaki Ninja 250 without a key?

I found this bike on craigslist and it said someone had tried stealing the bike and broke the ignition. I wanna make sure the bike starts before buying it and replacing the ignition. Does anyone know of a way to start the bike without a key? again its a 2007 Kawasaki Ninja 250
