See, I'm setting up my brother's Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005. However, I just found out that you need a television to hook it up to, is there a way for me to find a cable adapter, so I can use the cable jack from the wall, and stream it straight to my monitor? Because I don't have a TV, in this room, thus making the computer a TV (through Media Center). So if I do bring a television room it defeats the purpose of using the computer as a TV. So I just want to make this beneficial but not a waste of time. So, is there a way to use the cable from the wall directly to the monitor to feed it standard cable?
Is it possible to setup Windows Media Center TV, without a television?
